Default Harper's first career 4 hit game

first of many more to come. Kid has definitely gotten his second win late in the season and has been on a huge tear lately

Harper is, young , inexperienced and already showing signs that one day, he's going to be one of the great ones...Nothing else to discuss

It was bound to happen sooner or later. People gotta give this kid more credit ,he's a big part of why the Nat's are in first place in the NL east.

I haven't been interested in baseball in years and Harper and Trout have changed it for years to come.

I was twelve rows back last night. His double was decent, but the other hits were MLB average. Plus it was against the Mets. What's next, Harper's first 6 hit game against Houston. After last night I'm still not buying it with he's the second coming of Jesus or god-like.

Please explain. Has he broken rules? Does he run backward around the bases? What baseball guide are you going by?

More specifically, three of them came against Dickey. I'd say that's a feather in his cap.

yeah, he learned to adjust against dickey as well... i think he was 0/9 in his previous 2 games hitting against him. and even harper said "i can't hit him"... now he can.

harper needs to stay healthy and off PED's, the world of baseball is his oyster. anyone who can't see how well he is doing can sniff dookie.

If Harper didn't have the hype he did coming out of high school, the draft, and through the minors - do you really think people would be creating all of these posts each day about him?

I look back at Starlin Castro - who had 130+ hits and batted .300 at age 20, then led the NL in hits at age 21 - and he doesn't have 1/5 the media that Harper does or did coming up to the bigs.

agreed... just watching them interview the little league world series players... their favorites were either "daddy's guy" ie jeter, cano, hamilton.... OR Bryce Harper / Mike Trout...

in short, BUY all the Harpers and Trouts you can get at a good price and when these kids inherit daddy's oil money, profit. just sayin'

Harper certainly has a chance. He's on par with Frazier and will overtake him if Frazier continues his slide while Harper continues his tear. He may have a hard time against Miley, but lets see how the votes come in...
