What do you guys think of the value of these compared to each other? Lately I bought a few BGS 9/10's of hot players/cards for a good amount less then the raw's. I prefer the bgs's for my pc for the case mainly and in my eyes they are better than most raw's of eBay. Want to know how you guys feel about them. Also the difference between these in base autos/ref autos compared to orange and other rarer cards. Are 9/10's & 9.5/9's etc. more valuable when it comes to more rare cards?

This is someting that's been on my mind too. Many people seem to not want a card slabbed unless it's Gem. I think most would rather have a raw than a BGS 9 because there's the possibility that the raw card could be graded by them, get a 9.5 and a value boost.
I also think that a PSA 9 carries more weight than a BGS 9.

I feel the same way about both. An example: just got a BGS 9/10 JBJ blue ref auto for $91. They sell $130-150 raw. Another is a Bundy 9/10 I got for $52 which normally sell for $65 plus.

Having a 10 auto should count for something with how man terrible auto's we have seen lately. With that said, I'd rather have a 9/10 slabbed than a raw for the auto grade and the preservation. Sad that some 9/10's sell for 5% less than raw when the set typically has clean autos on most cards. A 9/10 Oscar Taveras or BP1 Harper sell for more than a raw for sure.

I would prefer to have a 9/10 over a raw card, partly because of the casing for it.
