I understand that it is a high price but if someone wants it bad enough, they will pay that... Or close to it!

Thanks to the OP for bringing this to my attention...now excuse me while I wipe the drool off of my face

Pricing things this high with no expectation of getting close for BIN is common practice because a lot of people have search preferences for players / products set for highest price first, sometimes it increases views etc. Not that you wouldn't be able to find this card but its just a strategy

I got a $100.00 bet that anyone who complains in threads like these about too high of a price, if they pulled a card like that they themselves would have a huge price tag on the item.

What's even better than these threads are the messages from ebay buyers letting you know that your card is too much. Got a guy email me this weekend about a Brett triple threads bat card and say "I'm a huge George Brett collector and I would never pay your asking price. I have bought many cards of this caliber and what you have is worth about $28 shipped. Ill pay right away at that price." First off...send me an offer and not a message. Second...F&%$ off because the BIN of $150 was hit an hour later and paid for.

The guy is probably hoping for a 10k offer. Nothing wrong with shooting for the stars though. Never know if you might hit one.
