Baseball cards and investment should not be considered synonymous. Put your money in an IRA or mutual fund if you are looking to invest.

Collectibles aren't generally good investments but baseball cards are an exception. I'd lean towards Draft, since I never really understood the belief that this year's draft is weak. Though realistically, it's hard to know without knowing what is in each produce (ie. checklist).

I have heard some people do ok on sealed cases. I have heard some people do ok "ripping and flipping". However these are pretty small amounts of people. However, as a general rule, I never expect to make money selling boxes or cases of cards. Opening boxes is gambling. Topps, Upperdeck, Leaf etc are the only consistent winners.

I would go with Bowman Chrome, it seems to retain value better than draft picks.

Are you serious? Price per case on BO or ebay,

2011 Chrome $1,080 (with Harper)
2011 Draft Pick $1,125

2010 Chrome $620 (with SP strasburg)
2010 Draft Pick $925

2009 Chrome $810 (sold on ebay)
2009 Draft $2,800 (asking on ebay since you cant find 1) or $2,980 on another site

2008 Chrome $420
2008 Draft $$$$$$$$ (cant find 1)

I think Draft has a lot more value than Chrome

I don't see the value in Jumbos unless they have more color.

I agree with this. The base cards, especially when cases are broken in bulk, have value.

However, this year's bowman jumbos seemed to be absolutely loaded compared to hobby. If they do the same with draft, the equation changes.
