What walk off celebrations (or actions) do you find entertaining or fun to watch?
I bring this up because every time the Braves have a walk-off win (tonight was an awesome one) and I watch them celebrate, I cant help but notice Martin Prado running around grabbing handfuls of dirt and throwing them on the person who had the walk off hit. Its probably one of the most entertaining things to watch during the celebration in my opinion.

I think the whole thing is rather odd. I can see celebrating like that for a walk off home run or something. I'm waiting for someone to get hurt from getting dog piled.

I don't think the thing is odd. Especially in this case where the walk off clinched a playoff birth during Chippers last season.

I would imagine that a walk-off win, even in the middle of the season, is a great Morale Boost. In fact it could be the turn around point for a team and they could get real hot. You wouldn't want to ruin that excitement by telling your players its no big deal, at that point it becomes a business and not a game and you are the Yankees.

I agree to an extent but you would have to consider the given circumstances. Walk off single in a 2-1 game in the middle of a 4-5 game winning streak probably not. Walk off single in a 20 game winning streak or when you were down by 8 runs than probably so.

Seeing the players in the dugout & home crowd explode with joy (Game 6 of the 2011 WS comes to mind) is what I always like about walk off wins. You can feel the energy even if you're watching it on TV.

There might be only 6 - 10 walkoffs in a year for a team. I don't think that it is out of place to have fun with them.
I agree Prado is a fun one to watch. There aren't too many players who enjoy the game as much as he does. P.S. Did you happen to notice the Prado Supercollection up for sell on eBay? Martin Prado Super Collection 2005 - 2012 BGS 9.5 1/1 #/25 AU Auto Jersey LOT | eBay |
