Wonder what the odds are that someone actually wins the million. They probably took out an insurance policy so they aren't paying the full million either way.

Even if you assume your player has a 50% chance of getting a hit in a given game, your odds of "beating the streak" (i.e. 57 in a row) are about 1 in 14 quadrillion.

No company pays off big prizes like that, even casinos have insurance on the big multi million payoffs on slots, cant really slam them for that. Now about being original.............

On top of those odds you have to unlock the good players too. If you don't unlock the right people at the right times then the streak will end

First of all if you hitter averages .300 and has almost 4 abs/ game there is a 75% chance of them getting a hit.

Similar to the Crash The Game cards they use to have when players would hit home runs on the date listed on the card.. redeem for a prize. But alas I'll pass on this promotion just like the golden giveaway, they've lost their flavor.

Is it really 50% though? In real life for a player to get a streak they have to face certain amount of teams in order. In this contest it seems like you can pick a new player each day, so you can sort of choose which pitchers you wanna face (ones with high ERAs, low SO's, etc), and which hitters you want to play (ones on hot streaks, ones that routinely make a fool of the pitcher, etc).

I don't know if that makes it come out better than 50% though, but seems like the odds are better than an actual player doing it.
