Sometimes loyalty can only go so far. Kind of like, hard to continually believe your wife isn't cheating on you despite a different man's clothes being found on your bed every night...lol. I'm not giving up because of their schedule, but I won't be disappointed with a letdown because it's too common. The Cubs could've gained a game in the WC today to be just five back (assuming the Rockies lose, down 6-0). They got schooled by a rookie pitcher who got shelled his first two starts, and how that game today just fell apart late made it even worse.

I don't need sense talked into me. It's called being a fan. I'm not ignoring the bad, but you're right, as a loyal fan it's my obligation to give up on the team and just ignore them completely. I just hate you talking to me like I'm stupid.

There's a reason the playoff seeds aren't decided until after the season's over. But I suppose you're right. Every time the Cubs gain a game in the WC the rest of the year it's just a joke. Unpredictable things NEVER happen in baseball.
