A discussion began on a different forum in which members told stories and shared photos of grave sites that belong to baseball players. The thread sparked a small project for me to find Charlie Neal's grave site which is located in Longview, Texas where I live.
Curious if anyone on BO has done something like this. Feel free to share your stories or photos. If you are interested in reading my story you can visit Varsity Collectibles Here is Charlie's grave site.

I know the guy who runs this site - has listings of tons of grave sites, as well as stories on how some of these guys died, etc.

I still haven't visited, but 4 miles from where I grew up is Holy Sepulchre Cemetery which has the site of 2 former Detroit Tigers owners including Frank Navin with large Tiger statues at his site. Also there are several other ballplayers including HOF's Charlie Gehringer & Harry Heilman, golfer Walter Hagen, 2 Roman Catholic Cardinals and even Manson Family victim Hairstylist Jay Sebring. I've wanted to see the Navin site, but never find the time when I visit my mother.
www.findagrave.com is a good site.
