What is so funny about this is the fact that I don't know hardly anyone on a personal level who like baseball or attends games like I do. There are about 70 people in my unit. We talk about sports all the time. Not a single one of them like baseball. I can't even recount how many conversations/arguments I have had with numerous coworkers in regards to how they believe baseball is so boring, season lasts too long, baseball players aren't great athletes, their slow, their weak, anyone can do it, it doesn't take athleticism, etc... In my many attempts to rebut their false accusations, they all still insist that baseball sucks. This was the same scenario in the last unit I was stationed at, only 1 other person liked baseball the way I did. To see that attendance numbers are up makes me wonder where are all these baseball fans supposedly at. All I ever meet are college football fans.
