Prior to the 2008 season Fielder became a vegetarian. Fielder made this choice after reading Skinny Bitch by Rory Freedman and Kim Barnouin, given to him by his wife.[34][35] However, his time as a vegetarian was short-lived; in January 2012, in his introductory press conference as a Detroit Tiger, he stated, "I'm not a vegetarian. I was, for like three months."[36]

A's will lose this series only because of the Playoff format. Tigers are a much better home team then they a road team.

I love when people say you can't quote wikipedia, hahaha

There is nothing wrong with quoting Wikipedia on a forum, if it was for an actual report you'd be an idiot because everything on Wikipedia that is quotable is linked to where it came from, but this is a forum, get over yourself

But there would still be a link where you can confirm it if it's correct, on a forum, just easier than going through it all, again, this is an Internet forum, not a school paper, who cares

Wikipedia is often sourced by real articles -- not the worst thing in the world to reference. I did just fine in college using Wikipedia as a starting point and citing the articles it sources at the bottom.

This "Wikipedia is not credible" mindset is a little antiquated.

Wikipedia is fine as long as it has the articles linked to the statements, I guess since I didnt click the link, I suck at life lol.

Someone could still go edit it after the referenced was sourced? No? Maybe Im wrong. If so I apologize. I thought anything is editable at anytime.

You'd would have got a zero? Are you sure you weren't getting docked for writing sentences that make no sense?

No, if I wrote a paper on something, and I found a fact on Wikipedia that I wanted to use that referenced a NYT article, I would click through to the Times and cite that. Wikipedia is a great starting point for research.
