Question did my first RCR. now, what to slab?

hey guys, i'm still a newbie around here. i love the look & feel of slabbed cards and my understanding is that it will increase value if the grades are high. however, i was wondering what your take is on what is worth slabbing and what isn't.

i stopped by my LCS this weekend to get some cards graded by beckett. here is what i got:

yu darvish bowman platinum auto blue refractor - 9.5 / 9 (auto is streaky)
matt hague topps chrome atomic refractor auto - 9.5 / 10
kyle blanks bowman draft picks RC superfractor - 9.5
tsuyoshi wada topps chrome red refractor auto - 9 / 10
tsuyoshi wada topps chrome gold refractor auto - 9 / 10

now, i decided to get the first three slabbed. was it worth it to get the darish slabbed with only a 9 auto? would you send in the two tsuyoshi wadas at 9 / 10? it would be cool to see what the sub grades are but what is the minimum dollar value or minimum grade (8.5? 9?) for a card to be worth slabbing?

your opinions would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

9 would be the minimum. 8.5 definitely hurts the value. However getting cards RCR doesn't guarantee that grade from Beckett so those 9's could possibly be 9.5s depending on the graders eye.

I was under the impression that an RCR grade will translate into the same grades in a BGS slab, so long as the RCR sticker isn't tampered with.

Can you scan the Darvish? I submitted a streaky-ish auto, and would like to have a basis for comparison.

that's what i was told too, but i've seen posts about "bumps" in grading. i thought those bumps in grade were due to re-submitting the same card without the RCR sticker. can someone confirm?

sorry, no scan at the moment but i was told that with the bowman platinum autos it's very common for darvish autos to grade 9 or 9.5 due to the sharpie he was using when he signed this set. you'd think Topps would give him a bunch of new sharpies and instructions to switch to a new one if the ink becomes streaky.
