Default Giving Away 3 Free Update Codes

Okay, want some advice. Giving away a Free Update Code to 3 different people.

I will be opening a store on the new Collector Revolution website. I'm hoping it's going to be like naxcom, but not suck as much. Anyway, here is my question.

What kind of cards would you look for if you were going to check out my Collector Revolution store? I'm more of a low dollar kind of guy, so think $1-$10 cards on average.

Should I stock a wide variety of 2012 topps update including base inserts and such? Should I go vintage? Low end autos? I will be doing mostly football and baseball. Please spend a moment and give real feedback.

Then, pick the amount of points the Steelers and Titans will combine for in tomorrow night. The 3 closest (under beats over in a tie) will each get a PM with a FREE code.

If someone spends a lot of time giving me good advice, I do have a total of 6 codes I could give out so I may send one to someone that puts effort into the answer.

And lastly, I will be having multiple specials exclusive for BO members who PM me for a referral link when the time comes. These cards will be available at random times (I will post them somewhere on here), shipped for FREE with DC, and below ebay on cards you would actually want.

thanks for the long read!

No entries accepted after 8pm EST on 10/11/12 and edited posts are voided. Only one guess per person please.

Lower End autos/relics seem to always sell well for that range. Inserts/serial numbered cards of stars should also do well,or local players.

Set collectors will probably like the inserts from Update, now would be a good time. Also rookies in there like Harper/Darvish/Middlebrooks/Bauer/Miley/Cespedes will sell well for a couple bucks a piece.

Just think of whatever is on COMC, that will probably sell well.

I'll guess 29 points for the game BTW.

I think you should stock up in cheap TC autos of good players ex. Moore, Tulowitzki, Hanson, etc.

I think building up hits from the past couple years (mainly this year) would be a successful route. I have seen that 2010,2011, and 2012 stuff has been selling very well. A look through the b/s/t section here on blowout will give you an idea for this. I guarantee that you will see a lot of bowman product lines(draft, chrome, platinum, sterling). Propsect cards are usually the most valuable card of a player. Maybe this is all just me, but its just something I have noticed.

I'd say lower end autos/gu/relics/inserts. Most people will buy those because they are affordable and but also look high end.

I really wouldn't put anything really high end on there unless you know you can make decent money off it and there's a want for it by people.

As far as commons, pc stuff, I'm sure people will eat that up fairly quickly too, but as long as it's cheap/affordable. I think you'd sell a lot of those too.

That's my take on it.

For my prediction for the score for tomorrow night, I'm gonna say 45 points.

I personally think you should capitalize off lower end items as well.
Set collectors are always looking to finish off their chases, and sites like this and COMC would assist with that.
The more you branch out for sale, the better chance you catch someone who is branching out looking for a particular need.
I think there is money to be had.
As for high end, you could just throw it on this site and just see if anyone offers you anything worthwhile. It seems like it would be a free way to advertise your stellar cards while waiting for that "one right offer"

My prediction for tomorrow night's game is 59.

It seems like low-end is winning so far. How about low end rookies like 2011 Score Factory Set Variation football and 2010 Bowman Draft baseball. Guys that haven't broken out yet. Would people pay $.99 for 1 or 2? Thoughts?

base prospect chromes and refractors. Also, Topps gold cards for set builders (the ones serial numbered /2011, /2012, etc.).

44 total points, thanks!

I'm partial to low end Autos/Relics, so I say go with that.

For the points, I don't really follow football too much, so I will just throw out a guess of 3 points total.

Especially, for football I would do low serial #'d cards, because lot of people are look for cards of players they pc, so the variety in a newer person's collection like you might provide some cards that people can't find anywhere else. For baseball, I would say prospect and rc refractors and numbered again, because people like flipping those cards even if the player isn't spectacular.
Now for the Steelers and Titans game, I'll say 36 points.
If you don't have numbered and refractors; I'd say low end autos/jerseys.
