With the way this team is hitting, I'd say Hammel has a fair shot.

Well, combined the pitchers threw a one-hitter for the first nine half innings; but no perfecto. Lazy pitcher to let Tex steal second.

Runner in scoring position, no outs. This'll be the last chance we have to score tonight.

Girardi just got a contract extension. The genius behind the benching of Arod. Can see the headlines tomorrow...

Well apparently it doesn't matter who wins tonight since the Tigers are just going to coast through this whole postseason to the WS and win the WS 4 games to none
Cause the first series was so easy

Did Curtis actually get a hit? This is not making much sense.

They better not win the WS in 4 as I'll be on a plane for most of that game and probably driving home during the ending of it, I'll take a WS win in 5 games though, hahahaha

That is why the double play is unforgivable.

That's what I'm thinking, looked to me like it definitely hit the pole, thought it changed trajectory

Is this the deciding game of one of the closest playoff series ever, or is it a regular season Tampa Rays home game?

Jesus, this is embarrassing. But, it is a trend I have noticed since the new stadium was build. In 2007 and before, almost every game had at least 40,000 fans. Then, with the new stadium (I think the prices of seats mainly), even big regular season games now don't get 50k (even weekend games in the old stadium against the lowly Inidians would get 50,000+).
Throw in the cold weather, and awkward start time, you get this terrible crowd.

No excuses for a game like this. Leave work early, like 3 hrs early if you have to. C'mon.

That really looks like it changed direction. I think it hit the pole.
