Default Newbie BC Question

To brag a little bit, I picked up a blaster of BC last night at about 11 and it ended up being a refractor hot box.

The question, how do you tell the difference in refractors (i.e. refractor Vs. X-Fractor)? I got back in the hobby about a year ago now and these things weren't around the last time I collected. This is the first time I have done BC and I honestly can't tell the difference. If you have pictures that would help. Thanks!

Xfractors look like a checkerboard background.

I could be wrong I haven't seen that much of this years stuff but it usually says it on the back under the card # or google 2012 BC checklist sportscardradio I think it is has an awesome checklist of slot of product and should show examples of each variant ie xfractor refractor or color variations hope this helps

All xfractors look like this:

2012 Bowman Chrome David Ortiz Xfractor | eBay

All refractors look like this and should say "refractor" on the back:

2012 Bowman Chrome Adam Jones refractor | eBay

And if you are busting hobby, don't get an xfractor confused with a super, serial #ed 1/1 on the back:

2012 Bowman Chrome Baseball BUSTER POSEY SUPERFRACTOR BASE CARD #1/1!!!! | eBay

In your blaster there should have been 7 Bowman Chrome packs, and one plain silver foil pack. That silver foil pack should have had 3 x-fractor cards.

ah I knew the foil pack was suppose to be fractors, didn't know those were x-fractors. Most of the cards in the of 6 packs looked like the cards in the foil pack. I'll try and get them scanned in tonight.
