I think Iglesias's time in Boston has run out, if you wanna say SS of the future its either Marrero or you dream about X there, but Iglesias probably has another half season before people just flat out give up on him, and Boston tries to dump him.

great stuff Jaypers. must take a lot of time to do this. and I love your take on the Padres prospects. just wondering, how close do you get to Baseball America's list year in and year out. seems like a good list to me. how many of your #1's or top 5/10's match up to theirs?

Took me over 50 hours of free time to compile these lists. It's basically a crapshoot when it comes to comparing my lists to theirs. Usually my #s 1-4 come close, but after that, it's almost impossible to accurately predict their rankings. That's what happens when you take one person's opinion and pit it against an entire staff's.

Felix Sterling... Indians.

Last year, was top five, this year not top twenty.... Any specific reasoning.

Because he posted a 6.58 ERA in Single A. Not a very good year for him. Still has a LONG road ahead of him before he reaches the majors.

Honestly I think the White Sox have a worse system because they don't have a Francisco Lindor type prospect at all.

Good topic to bring back up. Hey JP what do you think of Jared Mitchell? Was considered a 5 tool ball player, does he still have them? Looks to be hitting for average is a problem with him. Your opinion is appreciated thanks

Good bat speed, needs more patience, has holes in his swing. Good power. Speed has slowed since his ankle injury.

Second - Given Russel Martin going to the Pirates, what is the consensus on Austin Romine's development?? I realize he's not quite a major league starter, but just curious.

Probably will get the call next year, but Sanchez will eventually take his spot.

FB touches 98, has lots of deception. Good breaking ball, developing changeup.
