Could not wait any longer. Sent in 2 seperate orders and will actually be getting them both in the mail tomorrow or Thursday. Got the emails yesterday, and just had to finally check them and see what I got. The first order was a 20 day submission, and the 2nd order was a 10 day.
Here it goes!!! The FIRST 2012 Finest Blue Refractors Jermichael Finley 10 2012 Finest Blue Refractors Andy Dalton 10 2012 Finest Lucky Cuts Andrew Luck 9.5 2012 Topps Platinum Andrew Luck RC 9 2012 Prestige Extra Points Black Shonn Greene 9.5 2010 Topps Ndamukong Suh SP/No Helmet 9.5 2012 Finest Andrew Luck RC 9 2012 Topps Platinum Xfractors Robert Griffin III 9.5 2012 Topps Chrome Atomic Refractors Brad Peacock 9.5 2012 Finest Jumbo Jersey Auto Gold Refr Dwayne Allen 9 Auto 8.0 2012 Finest Jumbo Jersey Auto Gold Refr Joe Adams 9.5 Auto 9.0 2012 Prestige Prest Picks Mat Prime Auto Brandon Weeden/99 9.5 Auto 10.0 2012 Finest Rookie Jumbo Patch Auto Stephen Hill 9.5 Auto 9.0 The SECOND 2012 Topps Chrome Brett Lawrie One Hand on Bat SP 8.5 2012 Topps Pink Tom Brady 8.5 1970 Topps Reggie Jackson 5.5 1970 Topps Hank Aaron 5 1975 Topps George Brett RC 5 1974 Topps Nolan Ryan 5 1978 Topps Nolan Ryan 7 I used the SAME tools to examine the first group as I did the second. The Brett Lawrie and Tom Brady should have been NO LESS than 9.0. The Brett Lawrie has been an journey of its own. Pulled it badly damaged, and submitted to Topps for replacement, after over a month long wait finally got this one in the mail and it went straight into protector and then off to Beckett. I can't see how it was an 8.5. Supposedly the edges are 8.0 which is total crap from Chrome. The Brady was off center I think but not THAT off center, turns out I got a 8.0 on CORNERS, pretty disappointed. The 1970, 74, 75 cards should have all been 7 or higher. The 78 Ryan was the WORST of the group, now it is the best by a significant margin??? I looked at a few 5s on ebay this evening, and NONE of my cards are in that condition. Anyhow, I'm ticked and may not submit older cards to BGS/BVG again. What really irks me is that for these old cards I will never know WHY!!!

That's BGS and 'subjective grading' in general, for you. I honestly think the graders sometimes just 'throw out wild numbers' after a certain amount of cards and their eyes get tired.

10- 2
9.5- 8 9.0- 3 Really not bad for my first attempt at it. The grades on that second submission using the same grading values just blows my mind. I am sorry to keep carrying on about it, but it really ticks me off.

You probably shouldn't send in cards for grading then, or you'll continually raise your bloodpressure. You'll find if you crack current cards out of their cases (even 9.5's) you'll get many that get even lower grades than you first received. Then you could crack a 9.0 open and receive a pristine 10. All depends on the grader that day and their mood.
