McGahee in the 2002 championship game vs OSU...and yes, for all the smack he talked before that game he kind of deserved it IMO...GO BUCKS!

Worst injury I've seen live was either Stone Cold Steve Austin breaking his neck or Sid Vicious breaking his leg.

Worst injury I've been around for (didn't see it live)? Clint Malarchuk getting his throat cut. I remember some pretty gruesome pictures the next morning in the paper. Horrific injury.

I think it was Monday night football, Vikings vs. Cardinals. EJ Henderson of the Vikings gets belted by his own player trying to make a terrible tackle. I watched it live. My wife and friend didn't even notice it. I cringed as it spun around like a wet noodle. By far the nastiest injury I have ever seen live. The lattimore injury was gross, but hendersons was on another level for me.

Anybody remember the Daryl Stingley (WR, New England) neck injury on MNF when Jack Tatum hit him? I was a young kid, but I remember that like it was yesterday.

Malarchuk is the worst. Can't compare.

Leg injuries I'd rank this way:

McGahee
Theismann
Prothro

Honestly, Lattimore's was not that bad compared to these three (and I'm talking purely from the point of visibility, not speaking as to the gravity of the inury)

I was at the game last year where Stephen Drew broke his ankle sliding into home. At the time I could see his foot on 180 degree's from where it should be facing. Being at the game any seeing that in person was crazy..

This is the ugliest looking injury I've seen live as well. Amazing he was able to come back the next season/at all after that.

Malarchuk definitely "wins" the ugliest sports injury for me.

How about Moises Alou's broken ankle sliding into second. I mean he picked his leg up and his foot was pointing at the ground.

Live would be E.J. Henderson breaking his femur against the Cardinals in 2009. That was gruesome.

I've seen the videos for Sid Vicious, Malarchuk and others which I don't know why I continue to watch when I know what will happen!

Tyrone Prothro's injury in the UA UF game was pretty bad. Killed his career too. Not as bad as some of the others mentioned, but I will never forget seeing his foot flop around.
