Default Esmil Rodgers to the Blue Jays

I know it's not that big a trade, but according to mlbtraderumors, it was for Yan Gomes and Mike Aviles, but how did the Jays get Mike Aviles?

Mike Aviles went to the Blue Jays in the John Farrell trade.

esmil rogers had some pretty good stuff coming out of the cleveland pen. Wonder if the Jays want to keep him in the pen or transition to the rotation. Seems like they wanted Rogers, so they may have something in mind.

As an Indians fan, I like the trade...Rogers was a decent bullpen arm, but nothing too special. Can't complain about a couple right-handed utility guys.

Now I have to wonder if the Jays' long term plans include Escobar and Hechavarria on the same infield
