Was looking through my photobucket today...made me start thinking of the cards i wish i never would have sold.

And the worse part is, i probley sold them, and used the money to feed my Busting was addiction.


Here are My TOP 5



1) SOLD IT for $2600 When i first pulled it...so can't complain too much

2) Larkers Dual Auto #01/15...Beautiful Card...Sold it to a member on this board when i was waiting to go to OCS (army) and was Broke...would love to buy it back.






3) 05/06 Sidney Crosby Black Diamod RC #088/100...






4) Tom Brady Autographics...Sold it for $150....Ughhhhh





5) Stamkos RC Collection...Sold all three for $100...YUCK!!!!

But on the flip side, I have had some really good sales for example:

I bought a trout gold ref auto from sterling for $110, and sold/traded for about $250 in SV.

I don't really know any specific card I wish I wouldn't have sold, but a collection. Back in the mid 90's, I had the second largest collection of Jerry Rice cards. About 1100 different cards total. I was around 16 at the time and hadn't gotten a job yet. Well having no money to continue my collection, I sold every last card except his rookie. About a month after I sold them, I found a job and could have continued to collect him. I tried to start another Rice collection a few years later, but never had the motivation.

Got a few Trout refs (2009 & 2011 BC) in a trade. I'm NOT a prospector, had only barely heard the name before. Sold a couple 2009s for like 40-50 ea to a hardcore Angels PCer. Had 3 blue and 4 gold 2011 BC. Sold all 7 for about 150.

Traded a 2011 Finest orange refractor Trout auto for about 70 bucks trade value for cards that I can't even remember before the season started. Really wish I could get that one back.

2007 UD Black Dual Patch Auto Prince Fielder /5 - Got damaged by the post office.
2009 Bowman Draft Gold Refractor Auto Mike Trout /50 - Sold it for $400.00 in 2010. Now is a $2,000 card.
2010 Topps Tribute Josh Hamilton Dual Jersey Auto /50 - Been having a desire to PC him.

And to make things more postive, the card I was really happy to give up:

2010 Panini Crown Royal Royalty Jersey Auto Brett Favre /20 that I traded for a the Josh Hamilton Auto above and a 1958 Topps Mickey Mantle. I still have the mickey mantle and is in a 8 or a 9 condition. Really pleased with the trade I made.

I had the ruth triple with a pinstripe at one point too! Believe mine was /10 tho. Sick card it would be on the list of ones I wish I could have kept onto.
