Farrell has been talking about having Bogaerts getting time at 3rd, of course it has most to do with the WBC but it's also not too far fetched to be thinking about the future and playing along side Iglesias.

Bogaerts will start the season at SS in Portland, and I would think based on how he fares in the 1st half of the season, will be bumped up to Pawtucket. Curious to see if he get's any playing time at 3rd as the season moves on especially since the signing of Drew.

It will be interesting to see just how fast he progresses as he appears to be very mature for his age both on and off the field.

Nice to see both Iglesias and Bogaerts produce today in Fla., now Bogaerts leaves for the WBC, should be a good experience for him and glad to see the organization supporting this opportunity!

Will Middlebrooks just left the game in Sarasota, hurt the right wrist (one he broke last season) on a check swing!

Did not look good as he immediately left the game, fired his helmet into the dugout as he left the field. Let's see what Bogarerts does at 3rd in the WBC, right now it looks like Ciriaco.
