Default His stuff is heating up.. sell or buy?

People are finally realizing his potential... His prices on most items are heating up, but here is the latest. Still lots of time to buy in as his stuff should continue to rise, especially when he makes the bigs. I have a lot invested in this guy. What do people think.. time to buy, or time to sell? I know a few people on these boards who are hoarding his stuff.

2011 Rymer Liriano Bowman Chrome Blue Refractor Auto Signed Baseball Mint 150 | eBay

EDIT: 3-5 again tonight - Hitting over .350 - BA said he wasn't quite a top 50 prospect at the end of the season. I think they may rethink their choice.

San Diego Padres player, nuff said. I will never invest in a Padres player, only exception might be if they find the next Strasburg because it's a pitcher's paradise.

I am well aware. Not gonna suddenly have them putting up 10 runs a game though.

It's also the fact that nobody cares about the Padres or watches them. They are by far one of the least followed teams in MLB. Someone like Liriano will have to put up insane numbers to get noticed when the Padres are struggling through another 90 loss season.

Do you happen to know what Rizzo's stuff was selling for right before his (disastrous) call-up when he was still destroying PCL pitching?

I do actually, I bought a Rizzo Chrome auto not long after he was traded to the Padres so I followed prices through his developement. But I got it cheap, of course prices can move regardless of the team but I would never pay top dollar for a Padres prospect because they have to do more to get noticed. Good stats for the Yankees, Dodgers, Cubs, etc will cause a player to sell better than great numbers by a Padres players.

Do you know how much his prices jumped when he got traded? If he's so good why should that matter? Oh yeah because nobody cares about the Padres, but the Cubs are a big market team people care about whether they are winning 100 games or losing 100. A lot of Rizzo's hype and value was based on the fact that he very quickly became a trade candidate and people were speculating.

Thank you duwal. Some people, I guess according to Thommy I need to spend thousands on Padres prospects or I'm not a real fan

Don't know why no ones mentioned this, but that card is almost definitely shilled.

Definitely sell, he is posting nice numbers in the Arizona league. He is a gap hitter who has a 12 to 1 strikeout to Homerun ratio, not good at all.

while there was a bidder that bid in $6 incriments with (0) feedback, there was a second place bidder that lost by $1, that was not a shill.

whoever bid last second and sniped it and won, was not shilled. IMO

Yes, but it was shilled up to $70, which is twice what it was at before, and twice what it had sold for before.

but still, when the #2 bidder and the winner outbid the supposed shill, it is not a shill.

if you outbid any legit bidder, it is not a shill. no matter the bidding price.
