Default Is this real? Stan Musial

During Sandy, I stayed with family and came across this. Any idea if the auto is real?

Looks good to me, it has changed over the years since he has gotten older but the loop in the "S" looks the same, the way the "T" crosses over into the "S" looks the same and the loop in the "M". So I would say this is real, note I am no PSA/JSA perfectionist but none the less the auto matches up.

Awesome. I just cn't figure a way to grade it. The auto is one the inside over of the scorecard.

It looks VERY authentic. I would say it is real, but still if you plan on selling it ever you need it checked out by an expert. Wow that is a nice piece. Gotta love all the old stuff, it was fairly mass produced but nothing like we see these days.

I recently found a pretty large street sign in my mothers garage, it belongs to her new husband. It has an old style Pirate and says "This way to Forbes Field". I did a little research and found out they were spread around Pittsburgh back when the Pirates played there. When I was a kid they played at Three Rivers Stadium, so I've never been to Forbes Field myself but I fell in love with this thing. It's in great shape and the design is just beautiful.

After doing a fair amount of research, I found ONE other example that was sold for $2500 at an auction a few years ago. The condition of these things shows you that they were actually used outside year round, but the one I have is very nice and doesn't have any damage or chipped paint. I asked my mom if he wanted to sell it and she told me no because it was his fathers and he is very much attached to it BUT I will eventually be able to have it because he doesn't have any kids or anything. His father bought it when he was a kid at an auction where they sold remnants of Forbes Field like stadium seats and things like that.

The only thing is that Musial did not play for the Cards anymore when they made that scorecard. I'm assuming someone went to the game and ran into him and asked him for an auto. Have no idea what it is worth but would love to hear a number. Pretty cool find.

Looks good to me! But, like what other people are saying it would be good to get it checked out by an expert so that way you can get a COA! Nice find!
Also, I wouldn't spend too much on trying to frame it. Just going to like Walmart or maybe Michael's to get a frame would be the way I would go! Hope this helps u out!

Auto Looks Good
Scorecard is Vintage from the 1960's
Autograph was most likely signed within the last 20 or so years because ball point pens ruled the day in the 1960's

Nice Piece, but not a ton of value as Stan Musial has been a prolific signer.

How do i frame it to where it shows the covers and the auto? Auto is on the other side of the cover.
