I know from my experience picking up singles of football the first year, I'd never touch this stuff again. Shouldn't be any mystery about it by now.

I've said over and over that they need to find a way to product edges and corners on these high-end on-card auto products. Some kind of foam frame or something. They just get beat to hell on shipment.

wow, i know they print to order, but vida blue /208??? that's like 1 in every other case.

i almost went "all-in" on this product too, but decided against at the last minute i could preorder. i don't see the case prices holding up @ 1450

unless 2/3 boxes per case break even, this is going to start dropping soon. some of the cards look nice but definitely not at that price point. gl to everyone cracking today-tomorrow.

So will they hold strong at $1395 on blowout? I'm staying away since I'm too scared to gamble on this one, but i love following the prices of these types of products.

What's the point in making these cards so thick? Just because a product is "high end" doesn't mean it needs to be the thickest stock possible.

You aren't kidding. It can be a $1,000 loss or $1,000 profit per case gamble. That is a massive swing when the case price is $1300-$1400.

Thanks! I normally stay WAY away from high end products because they are normally losers. But I wanted to treat myself to a new product after having a really good year with cards. Will probably take a hit, but I will have fun doing it!

Yep ... you actually could hit something really huge, we honestly have no idea what the ROI of this product will be yet, but damaged cards right out of the pack in a product like this just blows my mind.

let's not overreact based on a small sample size of a few cards... seller has obviously not listed any booklet or patch cards yet...

I am nervous about all those silver/gold autos replacing the book in a majority of boxes. Probably would've done auctions on the first Five Star cards to hit eBay. Seems kind of silly to set a semi-arbitrary ceiling on your return. But maybe that guy is just really good at predicting the market for these types of cards.
