SO, YOU THINK YOU KNOW PROSPECTS?

Bowman is giving you the chance to put your knowledge of prospects to the test with the “Bowman Prospect Challenge”.

For the first time ever, Bowman will insert code cards into multiple card releases that allow you the chance to play a digital game and compete to win Monthly prizes featuring Autograph cards from Bowman releases and a Grand Prize featuring autographs of Top Prospects (#’d to 10 or less.)

Here is how it works…
*Code card in packs allows collectors to enter a code on www.topps.com/BowmanGame
*Each code entered will unlock 4 prospects. Pick 1 of the 4 for your team!
*8 prospects complete a roster (additional prospects on bench)

Here is what you could win…
*10 Monthly winners will receive autographed cards.
*10 Grand Prizes winners of season long competition receive autograph cards numbered to 10 or less.
*Random codes will unlock a special 5-card pack of Bowman Draft Picks and Prospects Blue Wave Refractors and some packs will include autographs.

Where to find code cards?

Sounds interesting depending on how the whole scoring system will work.

Not busting any wax, so I won't be pulling any.

If anyone wants to send me their unredeemed code cards, I'd take them.

hmmm seems like this will be in replace of a wrapper redemption program?

Pack odds are 1:6, so 4 a box and 48 per case. Wonder how much these will go for? I'm guessing $3-4 in the beginning and slowly drop down to $2. That adds anywhere from $100-200 per case. I could be way off though.

Sounds good to me. Should add some decent value to the case breaks.

Will proabbly be just like the code cards in base Topps. every 6 packs in hobby, 1 per pack in jumbo (possibly every other pack, depends how they do that, can't use base Topps as barometer, as there are only 10 jumbo packs in base Topps, and 12 in Bowman)

Depending on the odds of pulling a blue wave pack, I say ~3.00 a code at release. Would add an average of $150 of value per hobby case and between 150-300 per jumbo case, depending how they seed the codes.

This seems like an easier way to do a wrapper redemption process. Now, no arguing about who got their packs in first, no worrying about running out, and additional prices. Glad I locked in my cases already.

Just follow the right people on Twitter, check out a few box scores and regurgitate what the experts say and you too can be a self-appointed prospect guru....

Seems a little odd that it's still one per six packs for Sterling when it's a much higher price point. Sounds good for the others, but not for Sterling.

I totally agree.. I have a bunch of bowman sterling coming in, so I might be a little biased though.

I like this infinitely better than having to rush the rip packs, send them into topps, and pray you actually get your blue wave packs. I hope this isn't an effort by Topps to make up for hosing us on the autograph checklist. I guess we will see soon (tomorrow?)

I think you're pretty accurate and maybe a bit low, I bet they may fetch as much as $5 per code... We aren't just talking about hitting useless golden e-coins.

I see these adding $200 a case with ease.

How great would this be! I bought a ton of cases with the idea to flip the jumbos and lower my price point into the hobby cases. With this news, I can now tell myself that it is OK to rip all of it.

So I guess you are saying that you won't be forced to rip through 20 cases in one sitting in order to get the wrappers out. I know this must be terribly upsetting to you

I did the same thing If I can unload these prospect challenge cards quick and get $200 for them per case, I'm down to about $400 per case. I should easily make at least my money back!

What if there were sterling specific blue waves from only those codes? That would be awesome.

I think $4 a card is realistic and $5 may be possible.

If this pricing does take place for more than the first 10 codes there will be some very upset people.....when someone spends $40-50 for 10 codes and gets VIRTUAL players you will have upset people, its similar to the football promo.......pick a team each week win prizes, sprinkled in is some packs as in football sprinkled in is some die cuts............
