Because if you price it with an enticing BIN that you think may be slightly higher than what you'd expect, someone might take the leap and grab it.

I saw a completed listing that ended today (I'm assuming it wasn't yours OP) of BIN/BO of $3,999.99. I know that isn't much help but thought I would relay this out there as someone has already asked for double the opinions of others on here, though who knows what offers he turned down.

Exactly. You don't want to be excessive, but many times I've listed at near double what I figure the value of the item to be and get someone to bite at full asking.

interesting card and its a huge shame that this card is not live, knowing Topps it will take a while before it becomes live.

myself I would accept anyhting above 1k, a lot of potential bidders know about Topps so they will be hesitant in bidding huge amounts but you never know.
