Default Get This Ripken Rookie Graded?

Selling off a collection for a retired teacher friend. He had a 1982 Topps Traded set....so I fished through it to find this.

SO-
My question is should I get this graded for him?

If so, which service would you recommend and why?

Looks pretty sharp, I'd send it to PSA. Definitely the preferred service for vintage.

Looks sharp! Is that a fisheye on the lower left in the red swoosh mark? If so, I woudn't expect it to get any higher than a PSA 9 at best. Nice find

It is a small fisheye. If it isn't going to grade higher than PSA9, should I even bother or just sell the whole set?

You think Miggy will grade the card high?

Definitely still send it in. A quick look at ebay shows that even a PSA 8 of this card sells for $60-$110. PSA 9's are in the $150-$200+ range. It's defintiely worth the risk to grade it. A PSA 7 recently went for $46 as well.

There is also a Reggie Jackson in this set that if graded PSA 10 could go for around $50-$60. Not sure of any others. Hope this helps.
