"GEM" Grading

This company legit/reputable for grading? Would a 10 there be a 10 with other vendors? Thanks

Just do BGS for modern stuff and PSA for vintage...not sure why anyone would go with another company, to be honest.

Do not waste your money. I would pay higher for a raw card than anything "graded" by GEM.

If you are serious about grading. Use PSA for anything 1986 and older and BGS for anything newer than that. Will get you the best bang for your buck.

I'm not looking to USE their services, but I was considering a card they have graded a "10." So I guess the better question should be, would their be an issue reselling a card graded by them?

It would probably sell better raw than graded by Gem.

Yup. I see GEM and I'm thinking trimmed or altered at worst, BGS 7 at best.

Well...I don't tend to buy a lot of graded cards, but I personally wouldn't buy anything that wasn't BGS/PSA. In fact, I tend to ignore eBay listings for cards graded by anyone else. I guess it's just a reputation thing...

I've purchased three, one of which I planned on busting it out of the graded case when I got my hands on it bc I don't care for the look of it. Thanks for all the replies, you are all extremely helpful! Could have made a big mistake tonight!
