Just do BGS for modern stuff and PSA for vintage...not sure why anyone would go with another company, to be honest.

Do not waste your money. I would pay higher for a raw card than anything "graded" by GEM.
If you are serious about grading. Use PSA for anything 1986 and older and BGS for anything newer than that. Will get you the best bang for your buck.

Well...I don't tend to buy a lot of graded cards, but I personally wouldn't buy anything that wasn't BGS/PSA. In fact, I tend to ignore eBay listings for cards graded by anyone else. I guess it's just a reputation thing...
