This isn't a product you rip and flip but sit on, not sure why people think its an easy payday. This product is released during the off season, which will hurt value.

I agree that the auto'ed prices are a little high for after release. But those are estimations for right at release, and I agree with most of them.

I, along with a couple other people, pre-ordered when the codes were announced. With that added 150-200 per case that the codes should give, that makes the risk a lot less, and should help the bottom line tremendously for case breakers. I was going to stay out completely until I heard about the codes. That, plus the addition of a bigger prospect set and a smaller rookie set (with good names this year) I think case breakers will do ok. It is by no means a slam-dunk product, but well worth the risk with the codes included.

Wouldn't have touched this without the codes.

There are lots of nice autos in here but it's missing the one or two big name autos of uber prospects like a Harper or Stras, etc.

I just look at the checklist and ask, why would I spend $680 on a case or pay $10-15 for the autographs I want?

I know there is the chance of a home run hit in a case, but seriously, it makes more sense to buy the autographs.


My guy lets me kill my orders up to 72 hours prior to release. I was in for four hobby at $680 per (he was at $700 gives me a discount for multiples). I'm thinking punt and buy singles.
