Twins Fans giveaway...
I have 3 prizes to give away.
1. Who is your favorite player and why? 2. What is your name(first)? 3. Guess a number 1-99. 2 and 3 will be given away based on the answers. 1 will be given away based on how many entries select a certain player and drawn randomly. One entry per person. Go... |
1. Trevor Plouffe. Really cool dude, nice with signing at games and with organizing public signings, can crush the ball to left if he gets a good swing, and we've lacked a strong 3B since before Koskie. Revere and Burnett get honorable mention, Revere for being his hustle despite his eight hoppers to second, and Burnett because I bought some nice cards of him for cheap and he eats innings.
2. Nathan 3. 7 |
1. Ryan Doumit. I just love the effort he puts in. When he was injured this year and Gardy wanted to put him on the DL, he just told Gardy no, something that Gardy probably doesn't hear very often.
2. Cody 3. 18 |
1. Scott Erickson. Mullet. End of discussion
2. Zac 3. 73 lobo_hacker, who always thought Erickson's hair looked realllllly sweaty even before the game began |
1. Denard Span. Just liked the way he came up and played in 2008. Was a great person to have take over centerfield after Torii's departure.
2. Zach 3. 24 |
1. Ben Revere - I love how much fun he has playing the game
2. Tyler 3. 11 |
1. Boof Bonser! I was in Minneapolis to see Liriano pitch his rookie year but he was scratched and I got Boof instead. Yeah... I was psyched...
On a more serious note my favorite Twin is Justin Morneau. Doesn't get much hobby love and his concussion problems haven't helped but the guy is a former MVP. I can remember back a few years ago when Morneau and Mauer were one of the deadliest one two punches in baseball. The M&M Boys. I miss those days. 2. Greg 3. 47 |
Kirby Puckett........Grew up watching him and loved how he played the game
Kyle 22 |
Ben Revere - Amazing player nice guy love how he plays!
Tanner 41 |
Everyday Eddie Guardado. Was a badass closer. Always brought his 'A' game and was among the best for a few years there in the early 00's.
Dave 55 |
1. Joe Mauer-I Grew up Idolizing him. Growing up as a little kid you were in aw of mauer..I also like his sideburns. I've tried to grow mine like his but i can't get it as thick (:
2. Thomas 3.40 |
1. Bert Blyleven. I think he was just a quality all-around pitcher and an outstanding guy. I can't even imagine watching the Twins without Bert announcing the game, it's blasphemy. It's one thing to play for the team, but he's continued to be a part of the organization into retirement, which is just great. He can be a little outspoken at times, but he's not afraid to stand by his beliefs. Circle Me! Circle ME!!!
2. Ryan 3. 28. |
1. Kent Hrbek..He took less money to stay here, was a great Hitter and defensive player. Life long Twins player and a great guy to meet in person.
2. Scott 3. 24 |
1. Ben Revere. Beast mode in the outfield! And I met him and hes really cool
2. Andrew 3. 31 Thanks! |
1) Kirby Puckett-Played hard and had a love of the game like few others. Was also a great guy when I met him.
2) Rob 3) 13 |
1) Tony Oliva- Aside from being named after him, he was my dads favorite player. Obviously I never got to see him play, but growing up in my dads card shop I got to hear stories of how great he was. Sad that his career was shortened due to injuries.
2) Tony 3)80 |
1) Definantly Kirby Puckett, as a kid watching him play in the 87 and 91 series was truly remarkable. Especially living in St Louis in 87 and routing for the Twins over the Cards and having them pull it off, will always remember being hated for it!
2) Curt 3) 32 |
Joe Mauer, I have always liked the class he played with!
Michael 83 |
1. Jack Morris- he was mean.
2. John 3. 69 |
1. Harmon Killebrew - Super nice guy

Not a Twins fan but...
Terry Felton Went 0-16 in his major league career. I sent him a few cards to autograph with a short letter and he not only autographed the cards, but he responded to the letter (I asked why didn't he try to make a comeback (around 1986 or so) and he responded he had injuries. Very cool!) 19 |
Ill end this on saturday just a fyi for everyone.
