Well, may be he/she was thinking with a little luck, a few of the reds and purples plus a plate may be hiding in those 50 cases, After all it is 50 cases, something a lot of people will think is a lot.....

I seen people go into a store and buy 1,000 dollar of MegaLotto tickets and think they have a much better chance of winning a lot. Where in reality even if you buy every ticket of every store in the whole state that you live in, you chance of winning is still very slim.

Boomo, my apologies but I feel I am due a refund here. Topps decided not to product the "Bowman's Best" regular inserts.

I purchased 40 of those lots, and I now see that I will only be receiving 1 card per lot at best. I hope you'll agree that even though I will still be receiving a card (possibly), Topps decision not to produce the 1:6 version would allow me to receive a refund on my lots.

Does the board agree?

How is this any different than the code cards? Are the Best not going to be worth a ton more now? Not saying I wouldn't be ticked..I'd be ALL OVER TOPPS on Twitter. Oh I already am lol

Depends on what information was in the auction, and what information was available when you bought the slots. If you were assuming based on past product, and then no. But if Boomo put the 1:6 version in the auction, then yes. My opinion.

Yeah, looks like I need to change my group break and take those spots out and make it 1 spot across all 10 cases.

There's a difference here for sure.

You still get code cards in the previous situation. Here, Topps didn't produce a base! The insert value changes because it goes from xx to ZERO.

The value of the die cuts does not change at all. They're still /99 and /25. The base are now /0 and my entire investment is shot.

Yeah, I know it sucks royally for you, but I am not sure its boomo's problem that Topps screwed up. That's the problem with Topps - its always a crapshoot as to what they are actually going to do.

Auction description does not match what the product actually contains IMO. Refund is due. Easy charge back regardless.

I am not following your point at all. Nowhere in the auction does it say you will receive any base versions at all - it just says you get them all, including variations to /99/25/1 ... not sure what you are referencing.
