Default I think I saw the best 5 star box ever busted....
So I was visiting the shop I used to work at the other day and one of the regulars tells me he just busted a box of 5 star and got the following (all in one box):

Sandy Koufax Dual Auto Booklet (auto and cut auto on GU jersey)
Joe Dimaggio GU Bat Knob 1/1
Cal Ripken On Card Auto

(can't remember the base)


I called BS till he showed me the cards... I was in awe. Not sure if it was a fluke or that product is loaded.. but that was the sweetest box I've ever seen.


On a related note.. the same shop has the highest hit possible in the product (this I have a picture of) but I have been asked not to post the picture until after a coming show. Once I have the ok I will post it. This is up there with the Murder's Row cut I posted pics of back in April. Those pics ended up all over UD's Facebook, Twitter, and even in the beckett magazine I was told.

For it to be on par with the Murderer's Row booklet, it'd have to be some kind of HOF cut auto booklet. Not sure why this has to be so mysterious.

The DiMaggio bat knob must look awesome in person.

he's getting it graded, not sure why. And the monster pull might be getting sold, that's why I was asked not to post it on here. Will do so as soon as I get the go ahead to do so. I already offered to sell it on consignment for free (it's that WOW)

The Ruth Bat Plate will outsell the cut and the bat knob and would crush the trout/pujols.

I figured should be the Plate or the Knob. Just listing if there is anything else HUGE. For some reason, they don't have a trout/harper dual logo.

No I didn't actually see him pop the physical box.. but this is a guy who spends thousands a month and has some of the craziest boxes I've ever seen. He is not a liar, the guy I worked for who did see him open it is not a liar.. and I saw the cards. It was good enough for me to believe it.
