I'm not sure what you're attempting to say but obviously the tweet from him was sarcastic and I gave two examples of players who were shameful or "cheated."

Should be two different posts, Who'll get in and who should

Schilling eventually will get in, that guy's peak is up there with the best ever. He is a sure fire HOF regardless of how much you hate him, but he might need to wait a bit, or wait until all the writers hate all the juicers

Mike Piazza is a top 3 catcher of all time, whoever said he doesnt deserve it is just crazy

They all should go in, but my guess is next year its just Piazza and Biggio, maybe Bagwell jumps up a bit, Schilling too but they wont get in.

And the writers will F Bonds and Clemens on their try regardless, they arent getting in next year . No way

I think we were/are saying the same thing...

I get Cobb being shameful... a jerk really... but did I miss something on Aaron?

"Actually, the 1968 season wasn't the best time to present my case. It was the first time since my rookie year that I didn't drive in or score 100 runs. I was so frustrated that at one point I tried using a pep pill ”a greenie” that one of my teammates gave me. When that thing took hold, I thought I was having a heart attack. It was a stupid thing to do."

And a lot of people need to stop thinking steroids and cheating are confined to one, singular era. It was been going since baseball's inception and will continue to go on.

How is Piazza not a lock? Your talking about one of, if not the BEST offensive catcher in the history of the game.

Biggio and Piazza should be in, Bags should be better off then last year and the rest probably wont see many votes.

Biggio and Piazza from the new crop, and I'd like to see Crime Dog get in too.

I agree with this.

Biggio is a lock. Bagwell should definitely be in, and I think he gets it simply because the story is too good to pass up. Two one-franchise icons from the same team going in together.

If Bonds Clemens Palmeiro or Sosa get in the HOF is offically a joke. Biggio on the other hand should be a shoo-in

None of the first time balloters will get in. They are all associated with the PED era, and none will get in their first shot.

Eventually I think biggio, piazza and if people come to their senses, Bonds all get in. Bonds was one of the best players of his generation, with or without PEDs.

Why should Biggio be a lock? Simply because he racked up 3000 hits?

The number of hits he was able to accumulate was solely a function of the number of plate appearances he had hitting leadoff for the Astros, not because he was that great of a hitter.

He had a career OPS+ of 112, a career batting average of .281, never finished in the top-3 of the MVP voting, only received MVP votes in five out of his twenty seasons, only played in the All-Star game in seven out of twenty seasons (most HOFers have 10-15 ASG appearances), and only had four seasons with a WAR above 5.

Above average, to be certain, but not a HOFer by any stretch of the imagination in my book (but then the only guys I would have voted for in the past ten years would have been Alomar, Henderson, Gwynn, Ripken, Boggs, and Sandberg).

Am I the only one who thinks Biggio is not a first ballot HOFer?? I think he gets in no doubt, but not on the first ballot.

I think Piazza gets in with Jack Morris.

Biggio 3000 hits ... Hopefully they let bagwell in with him....

Piazza should be... But with all the PED stuff i doubt he does...

But then i guess why should bagwell..

It is going to be a mess for years..

I would let Mcgwire bonds sosa clemens in if i had a vote..

Half the league was on PED they just went after the big names..

How do we know ripken gwynn biggio larkin etc did not take them?

We don't

3000hits in this era makes you 1st ballot almost guarenteed

I dont care what anybody says.... Barry Bonds should be first ballot Hall Of Famer... Prove to me all other players in the Hall didnt use something illegal... you can't.... Top 5 player in the history of the game and still not hasnt been proven guilty of anything but making baseball more exciting during his best years....
