Default Why does NO ONE EVER DO THIS? Trade question

I am always reading terrible stories about I got ripped off and I only trade if you send first because of your feedback, blah, blah.

Why do the people trading not just BUY EACH OTHERS CARDS with paypal. I'll gladly pay my 2.9 percent plus 30 cents to know I'm not protected in the trade. Blows my mind.

My guess is that a lot of people doing this might not have any paypal funds available to them..your idea is definitely a better way to accomplish a successful trade and protect yourself at the same time.

Or better yet, send the paypal and simply refund each other in the end so there are no fees.

Only hard part is both parties having the money and deciding on a value for the 2 cards.
