hey does anyone use or has anyone ever used an SSK glove? I am thinking about getting one and wanted to see what other people think of them. Currently I have a pro preferred trap for outfield and a heart of the hide pro mesh for pitching. how do ssk pro gloves compare?

I was never a fan. I use a HOTH 13" 1B glove and a Primo 11.5" for pitching. I think Rawlings are the best gloves money can buy. Well worth the money.
I've been playing first base for about 15 years and have tried almost every glove out there, and I keep going back to Rawlings. I'm not sure what kind of outfield gloves are at the top of the market, really depends on the individual feel of each glove. But I'd buy Rawlings and Wilson well ahead of SSK. Definitely personal preference, though. |

Never used an SSK, but I used to use Rawlings until I experienced my first Wilson A2000. Absolutely in love with the Wilson stuff, now. I doubt I'll ever switch.

I used an SSK 11.5" in high school and loved it...it's still going strong more than a decade later. Pretty soft leather but doesn't have too much give which I liked...If I was in the market again would probably only look at them and Rawlings
Also have seem Nokona gloves--don't mean to derail the conversation, but would like to hear what others think about them, as well as SSK |

good to hear someone likes them. I have a few friends who only use A2000. They love them but I just never really liked them. they are good quality but they just never felt right to me.

Used an SSK in high school. Not a bad glove but hasn't held up as well as some.
I currently have a Nokona Bloodline and two Wilson A2000's. I would say both are superior to the SSK, but I like them all.
