If only 10 players playing right now or in the 2012 season could make the HALL what would your list look like.
in no order... Pujols jeter chipper "larry" CC Sabathia Miguel Cabrera Ryan Braun Roy Halladay Justin Verlander Vlad Jim Thome (600+ homers is hard to keep out) |

These are the only players I am certain will go to the HOF who are still active or at least active up until this year:
CHIPPER!!! Jeter Pujols Miggy Cabrera Halladay Ichiro Thome There are others who I think will make it if they keep up their pace like Braun and Verlander |

For Cabrera IMO the bare minimum for him to get in should be something like 2500+ hits and 400+ HR (which he should definitely surpass) and Halladay needs at least one more good season to get him over 200 wins etc.. Which again shouldn't be too hard for him to do either.

Probably not. If MLB ended after the 2013 or 2014 Season and they both kept up the same paces they've been on then yes. But right now I think they're borderline.

I think Bonds and Arod have to get in eventually. The voters will punish them by making them wait but at the very least Bonds' domination of the game can't be ignored. We will have to wait and see how Arod finishes his career but I think Sosa and McGwire will have to buy tickets to Cooperstown with the rest of us.

He has only pitched about 1300 innings in his career, which is about six seasons for a reliable starter. Because they pitch so little (in about 4-5% of a teams innings per season), their impact on the game is minimal. Even Mo has an average career WAR of only about 3 wins a season, which puts him in the same ballpark in terms of overall impact as such luminaries as Chuck Finley, Dave Stieb, Jerry Koosman, and Kevin Appier. Heck, Tim Hudson has a higher average WAR than Mo does..... |

it's also not the end-all-be-all of baseball. Mariano, IMO, is a lock for the Hall! and i am not a Yankee fan.

Cheating is cheating. If Pete Rose isn't going to be allowed in (even though it's different circumstances) then A-Rod, McGwire, Sosa, and most def not Bonds should be allowed in. There are more and these just name a few but play the game the right way.

In no particular order..
1. Albert Pujols 2. Derek Jeter 3. Chipper Jones 4. Miguel Cabrera 5. Roy Halladay 6. Jim Thome 7. Alex Rodriguez - Yes he will get in. 8. Ichiro Suzuki 9. Mariano Rivera 10. Andruw Jones Who else I think gets in at this point.. Justin Verlander Todd Helton Robinson Cano David Ortiz Andy Pettitte Ivan Rodriguez (not sure if he's still on a roster) Vlad Guerrero Bobby Abreau Chase Utley CC Sabathia Players who have a good shot if they keep on their pace: Ryan Braun Joe Mauer Paul Konerko Clayton Kershaw Prince Fielder Felix Hernandez Matt Kemp Dustin Pedroia David Wright David Price Buster Posey I might have left a few off but this is my list for now.. Mind you I am a Nationals fan and their isn't one player from my team on this list. No bias towards any of these players/teams.
