Max Scherzer 2008 SP Authentic Rookie Auto Jersey?

I just pulled a Scherzer Auto/Jersey RC from a Black Friday box of SP Authentic 2008. Unfortunately, the card is a redemption and expired 2 years ago. But after doing some research on the card, I've learned Scherzer never ended up signing. Any advice on what I should do? Let it go, or is it worth calling UD for to see if they will offer a replacement on an expired redemption? Since the card wasn't even redeemable for people when it was valid.

Did anyone else pull this card? What happened in your experience?

No experience with it, but always worth a call. Doesnt cost anything to do that.

UD will do nothing. They will say, "We no longer have an MLB license so we can't do anything for you." They did however offer a giveaway if I recall. People could send in their expired redemptions to be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a random card of a random sport. Other than, there's nothing to be done.
