Default Someone has copied a listing of mine, what would you do?

Alright so I have this here listed on my ebay...
SCB 2010 Topps Update All Star Jersey Derek Jeter Yankees | eBay

Was doing an ebay search and came across this....
SCB 2010 Topps Update All Star Jersey Derek Jeter | eBay

Seller used my exact picture and even put my initials in his title (SCB) as I do with my listings. I don't care whether or not he copied my picture as I know some sellers are to lazy to produce their own but putting (SCB) in his title has me confused.

What would be he proper way to report this?

Purchase the item, and once you receive it file NAD, saying "this card did not receive the Sports Card Buffet 'Seal of Approval', as was described in the auction title".

Kidding ... I would call eBay, but that's me.

I would just message and ask him to take your initials off. 20% of his sale goes to a cause and he's new to ebay it looks like so it could just have been overlooked when he listed it.

How do you know I ship cards with my seal of approval if you've never purchased from me??? lol

I just think it's weird & I don't need people ruining what little bit of rep I've earned with crap like this.

It already has bids though, so if I'm not mistaken he can't edit any part of the original listing.

Agreed, I would call eBay and let them know, they should be able to take down his auction almost instantly.

For others that are saying just to message the seller ... newb or not, copying other people's stuff doesn't fly in the real world, so why should it stand on eBay?

Using that logic every National treasures auto /99 is suppose to have a different title?

However for your information ebay encourages the zip type listing
if you click the sell one like this under the picture on any current listing ebay puts in the exact title for you.

This is probably what happened, and considering the card is going to charity I would not report it to ebay. You could simply message the seller and tell him that in the future to edit the title and take his own picture.

I'm not sure how that makes it ok to do...

If you really want it taken down simply report it using the "report a listing" feature. It has the option to report listings which copy your picture/listing, ect. I've had people steal my scans multiple times. I only ever had ebay remove a listing one time. Not too big of a deal, but if it pisses you off contact ebay.

like I said I'm not worried about the pic, just the (SCB) part. No proper way to report this it seems so I'm going to message them and tell them to pay attention next time

I get this all the time because of my great pics. Just report the item and ebay should take it down.

Select "copyright and trademark" then "images or text copied from your listing."

Both times I have had to use it the listings were removed within 24 hours.

I was under the impression that the description of the item was also copied. Nothing wrong with copying auction titles (although in this case the seller hurt himself by removing the team name), but pictures I take issue with.

I can put SCB in every title of my auctions and there is nothing you can do about it, unless you have filed for a copyright or trademark paperwork.

SCB, you are not the only one I see on the bay, but why do sellers put other initials or numbers or whatever in the titles anyway which have nothing to do with the listing? seems to me it takes up valuable description space. I know we get more space now than before but it just gets me as a waste of space. It is so repeat customers come back and know it's yours? Is is spam like our buddy who ryhmes with lig floyd and just for attention- IE: SP SSP $10000000 BV, etc.?

I've always assumed when I see weird characters/titles that it's some sort of inventory system, which will make it wasier to track/account for when reviewing monthly sales.

I will do it if I am selling copies of autos. I want to make sure the buyer gets the auto they saw in the scan.
