With the Mets? We still need an outfielder.

You know there's a problem when Willie Mays signs more than Matt Kemp....

Was that ever up for debate? I just think its ridiculous that an 81 year old can sign more than a 28 year old....

But heres what I find funny...the card they are giving away is one from Golden Giveaway which no one has won due to the Cardinals, Verlander, and Babe Ruth not being available...another famed topps scam.... I might be worng if anyone has Redeemed a code and Recieved all 30/30/30 please let me know.

Darn... from these images, looks like my Museum dual with Hank Aaron, my A&G red, and Topps Archived Clear Rookie Reprint may not have been signed yet?

As for the comment above, I met Willie 2 years ago hear at a book signing the Giants hosted. He is legitimately blind at this point and the Giants do a pretty good job of keeping this more or less secret.

We took a picture with him and when I placed my young son on the table in front of him within arms reach, his agents/representatives had to tell him where he was...

So, like Musial, we should respect the fact that they did not make the money that today's ballplayers do and therefore, are still attracted to signings. But they are old men and their signatures have become less and less legible. That being said, they still put in more effort than a lot of ballplayers and I will never be disappointed pulling one of their sigs...

I hate to bump an old thread, but I'm curious if Willie ever signed those Tier 1 clear rookie reprints? I just sold that Koufax booklet I pulled and have the money to buy one, but absolutely do NOT want to buy a redemption if he never signed. Thanks guys.

I have one pending right now. Was told 4 months ago it was signed but needed to be numbered, then was told 2 months ago that it hadn't been signed.

So I wouldn't spend the money for one as of now.....could never materialize

A huge, sincere thank you for answering this and saving me the cash. For real, much obliged. Didn't expect an answer. It's a dream card, so perhaps if he one day signs and you feel like selling, hit me up.

No problem. Dream card for me as well. My hope is that it is made one day. No more redemptions for me again!
