Meh, it's only a 1 year deal and Youk's just a stop-gap until A-Rod comes back. Good deal for the Yankees after you throw all that integrity or BoSox/Yanks rivalry garbage out the window.

As a Yankees fan I will always enjoy the rivalry between the two clubs and fan the flames at any chance I get. It's healthy and necessary for the sport.

Plus...I will never forgive Pedro for dumping Zimmer on his old head (even though it was top 3 funniest things I've ever seen on a field)...(I also enjoyed the Varitek forearm shiver to Aroid's throat)

While this is true...and I agree with the point you are making.

At least tell the whole story. Tampa Bay is going to be paying Longoria 19.5 million bucks a year when he is 36 years old.

Funny. I had a letterman auto of his I couldn't give away for $10 last week and someone snatched it up for $20 the instant he gets traded to the Yankees.
