If your listing says you accept returns, I suppose you can't do anything.

It states that
You have received a payment that we believe may not have been authorized by
the PayPal account holder.  Here are the details of the transaction we are

it means someone purchased something on someone's ebay account/paypal without permission, you will lose that one. same thing as a credit card chargeback, there is no way to win it.

however, if you lose it and you call up ebay enough times they will probably cover you on it and let you keep the money, because it's one of those things where it's not your fault.

This is, as I see it, one of the biggest problems with ebay wanting 1-day shipping. If you ship, and the credit card used to pay was stolen - you would have shipped the item only to find out that you are now out both the cash and the item.

If you shipped it to the confirmed address, then you will be covered

So you hadn't actually shipped it yet, right? That seems to be the good news. At least you aren't out the item.

Yup - it has not shipped yet - I usually print out labels at night and drop off
On my way to the gym after work. So at least that is a positive.

You'll be fine. That's actually happened to me a half dozen times or so. Paypal takes the money and you keep the card. Its as if the transaction never happened.

Sorry, man, I know this sucks. You certainly aren't alone on this issue. I seem to be a lightning rod for ebay a$$ clowns.
