Awesome stuff! I can honestly say I am not the least bit surprised though!

I am not in the know on this, what did you have to do to win? I remember seeing the little insert thing as a box topper in Bowman with Chrome (and instantly thought of you actually) but didn't look into it.

I had to construct an essay in which I talked about how I got into prospects and what I would bring to the table.

Any interest in sharing the essay? I think it would be interesting to see what it took to become a winner. If not, understandable, I don't think I would want to share any essay's of mine haha.

They talked to me over the phone about the contents of my essay, what I thought of the White Sox farm system (the interviewer is a fan of theirs), which stats I think are most important, who am I higher on between Profar and Machado, and a couple more topics I can't recall.

Congrats.........I really don't know a lot about the contest so what exactly will you be doing for Topps in regards to being selected? Is it volunteer or a paid position?

Volunteer, although I did win a free box of each of their 2013 Bowman products as a prize.

I'll be advising them as to which names I'd like to see in future products, as well as Tweeting about them.

Hey, they could not have picked a better person for the job. Love all your threads I have read so far.

That being said I would like to see some Adam Brett Walker get a chrome card in 2013, maybe even an auto. Alex Meyer is someone else who needs a chrome card and or Auto.
