Default Gypsy Queen 2013?

Is this stuff gonna be any good for rip and flip? Or collecting in general? How does GQ usually do? Haven't really been in the hobby past couple of years..

Cant speak to rip and flip, but as a collector I like it. 2011 and 2012 had some nice cardinals autos and game used cards. I plan on picking up singles of Freese, Gibson, Musial, etc.

I think I'm gonna rip a case of this for fun & to hopefully add a few hits to my collection.

I'm in for 3 cases. 2011 was amazing and 2012 was kind of bad. I'm hoping for something in between. I think the biggest surprise last year was how bad the autos were compared with 2011. Hopefully there will be better overall autos. I saw a few breaks where a Brett Lawrie base auto ended up being the best auto in the case and this product won't fly much longer if that happens again.

I only bought one box and was pretty disappointed. I like the look of the cards. But, my autos were Neil Walker and Daniel Hudson and relics of Mark Trumbo and Nelson Cruz(mini framed)

Loved the 2012 design.

However, like with most products these days, boxes were too expensive, so I bought a complete set on eBay for $30 including shipping.

This should be closer to 2011. Looking forward to it!

I picked up a couple blasters of 2012 at target for $12 each the other day and it was a fun rip. liked it more than ginter to be honest. Looking at the sell sheet seems like boxes will be pretty solid with two autos / two relics per box.

I think it will be closer to 2011 as well. Opened three boxes each year and pulled a lot better stuff the first year. As far as ripping and flipping, if you get ahold of some nice stuff early you should have no problem making money, like always. Also, this set seems to be heavily collected so you should be able to sell off SPs and base to set collectors in the early stages as well. Rip and send your base and insert minis my way!

Fun set to build, I did the full base set with all variations and subsets and am almost done with the black mini set. I'll probably buy 2 boxes and put the set together next year and maybe do the base mini set because the black proved to be a pain in the ass. I think I need a little more than 50 to finish and am having a hard time finding them.

Haven't seen any other threads on the 2013 GQ and it comes out soon.

Anyone know how many cases it would take to do a Master set including sp's and insert sets? If 1 case will do a master set I'll probably stick to 1 case, if not I guess I'll gamble with 2.

I'm going to buy a Griffey GQ auto someday, I love the look of them. Will be picking up some for IP and TTM.

Who's Planning On Busting Gypsy Queen?

The odds of getting a master set in 1 case are slim. Best to get 2 cases or find a trading partner.

I wouldn't say it's a good rip and flip, but definitely fun collecting. Has been one of my faves the lady few years.
