Default Jordan Pacheco - Future Star/Semi-Star?

Any thoughts on the guy?
He hit .309 (132 Games) in his Rookie campaign. Not too shabby.
He plays first, third and even played a few games as catcher.
With Helton an uncertainty for the 2013 season and perhaps beyond, do you guys think he's a lock for a regular starting gig for years to come?
Not exactly flexing the power with 5 HRs, but I'm more of an AVG. guy.
Plus, his cards are a steal, IMO.

I never got to see him play though. Would love to read any opinions/thoughts from the Rockies fans on here.

Not a Rockie fan, but he does play in Coors Field which is a dream park for hitters. I think he had a great rookie year.

I got to see him play a couple games over the summer in Colorado, real nice guy, even got him to sign a Heritage card of mine. He seems to have the potential to be a nice utility player, almost like Michael Young...

I think you answered your own question my friend. In a year when a child phenom had an awesome rookie season only to be beaten out by the greatest rookie season ever, he hit "not too shabby".

He plays a few positions, hence he prob will never be a position player.

So player wise, I think he had a great, strong year esp. for a rookie, and I expect good baseball off the bench from him for many years on prob many teams.

However HOBBY wise, I have no idea who he is...(just my opinion)

I've been slowly collecting him over the past couple of months. This is a key player for the Rockies in the future. He is a future star in the making. Before I joined, there was a member who supercollected him.

Right....is he going to fare better or be more popular than Tulo? I don't think so....and I cant give Tulo's cards away. Sometimes talent does not translate to hobby love, we all know that(David Price anyone?...)

I think he'll eventually be a very solid player with an All Star season or two. Playing in Coors definitly inflates his power numbers, though.
