yeah his partner Gelf laid the hammer on vwnut when vwnut hadn't posted anythig in the blogtv chat. Oddly enough, it was about 1 minute after vwnut started posting in the thread on that board about lack of good hits...coincidence I'm sure, but very defensive about product quality for just a middleman.

Mr. Gelfman was Cheerleader #1 during the break as well, getting all excited over $20 pristine base cards and $40 bat cards. I don't mind people trying to make some money running a break, trying out new products, but please spare all of the false excitement over an ungraded Nolan Ryan RC that sells for $3. Not a whole lot of objectivity in that break chat.

Actually, I was conversing with Gelf in a private chat.


I was led to believe that he had something to do with the company (with the phone call interview thing at the beginning, and the endless defense of the product and how great the pulls were during chat). I asked him why they inserted cards worth less than $30 into a $700 product


And trust me, I wasn't even going hard on him because I though he was part of the company. lol.

makes sense, but yeah they have awfully thin skin. Boomo even said something like, "oh, two screen names," or something after you got booted. Hilarious.

There was another person who got kicked, Boomo was trash talking him afterwards saying how he needed to be hit and this and that. All because the person didn't like the product.
