Just watched all of the breaks. It was like watching the coin guy on Home Shopping Network with no producer to guide him.
Some HUGE loser cards were, Albert Pujols Five Star Jersey, Bryce Harper 2012 green chrome refractor, 2010 Jason Heyward, 2001 Fleer Gametime Pujols /2000, Five Star Relic/Auto Sandberg, Harper Gold Rush.....etc and there were a LOT of etc. One guy bought 3 consecutive spots and got 1994 Ken Griffy Hot glove, 1967 ungraded Hank Aaron, 2012 topps chrome refractor Trout. Lost at least 300.00 That heroic ticket crap is for the birds. Lots of low end Trout and Harpers with bgs 9-10. Some really nice hits but taken as a whole...a very bad investment. I got a 1960 Fleer Babe Ruth PSA 7, which I think I found in completed listings. Boomo refused to show me my card, so I can't confirm. In blog.tv private chat I axed jcmint if he was in the break. He said, "no, i'm a sponsored guest." When I questioned boomo about it, I got banned. I got back in because I had a spot in the break. I was banned again because I was trash talking the product. I definately think Boomo got a huge kickback for this. This whole thing was definitely sketchy...

Seriously? Who would want to join a break where the guy doesn't show what's opened?

I don't see what auctions your looking at but every PSA 7 that I see has a buy it now of $150 or higher...however it doesn't mean they will sell at that price. I see a PSA 4 for $60, PSA 6 at $80 and PSA 6.5 at $100 but all PSA 7 at $150+. Now it doesn't mean people will pay that much but imagine you could get at least $120 for a PSA 7 if you put it up for auction. I'm not trying to defend this garbage break that Boomo hosted because it was garbage for the most part but that Ruth graded PSA 7 isn't as horrible as some of the other stuff.

Wow, I has to watch 1 case of this stuff and what I'm asking is where did this price point come from. There's no retail market, it doesn't sell anywhere and he admittedly had no idea what this product was about.
Personally I wouldn't feel right taking big money like this for a spot for something for a product I knew nothing about. The worst thing is those Heroic Points, you don't even get a card, here's the link to the rules how-it-all-works Just looking at the first case, this was $650 or so a case? Holy cow, the only exact card that can't be valued on ebay is the Longoria, but this is about $200 of product. Mike Trout 2011 PSA 10 - On average sell for about $40-$50 Nolan Ryan "Don't Mess With Texas" BIN $99 Evan Longoria 2008 Upper Deck X RC BGS 10, none on ebay but card is $3 PSA can't sell for $20. Ted Williams 1959 FLEER TED WILLIAMS #56 1955-2,000TH MAJOR LEAGUE HIT PSA 8++ CENTERED BIN $30

This seems to be the modern equivalent to the old 'Scoreboard' boxes you would see whored out on HSN and QVC by Don West ...
You "could" pull a Honus Wagner T-206 and some "big" autos out of one of the boxes and all kinds of other old vintage cards...but mostly you just pulled 1988 Chris Sabo Cards..and Toot McGivens autos THis seems to be the updated MUCH more expensive and dissapointing version of that. ![]()

Similar to Leaf Best of Baseball.
For a "straight shooter" he didn;t have 1 bad thing to say about the product. It was funny he went on a mini Topps rant about 5 Star and one of the next cards he pulled was a Pujols Jumbo 5 star jersey. $20 card. And just line BOB there were some very nice items. And some crap. People paying $160 for a redemption that gives you entry into a drawing. WOW. Also some of his childish mouth breathing followers show their lack of education on Private Messages.
