There is a whole group of collectors who collect vintage and have no issue with condition.

I have a friend who has a 52 Mantle with about 25% of the card missing.

I'll see if I can get him to send me a scan/.

I kind of like it, depending on when the defacement was done. If it was back in the 50s by some kid, then that's pretty awesome. If it was last week by some kid, then not so much :P

If you play Stratomatic baseball online, then you know that Stanky is an interesting guy to get...........usually walks about 150 times per season and hits .215. haha
