I think you miss the point entirely.

Back in 2005 this card being inserted was perhaps the most sought after card in the set and was most likely a huge selling point for this product.

Now the 1/1 autograph may have been inserted or this may very well be that card not signed, we don't know yet and it might be possible we may never know.

Any way you look at it, in my opinion, is not good for Topps and I am unsure why everyone is on my case so much about this when they should be asking Topps some very tough questions.

sh8t topps won't replace cards from 2012 now, nevermind from 2005. juss bussting ya choppas, but they won't replace stuff 12 months after print or after the redemption time expired.

still waiting diligently to find out what they say.
I may work 7a-4p M-F, and 11pm to 7am Friday to Sunday, do some work outs and make dinner for 2 everynight, but I can keep checking back here at least.

Because no one, aside from you, believes there is any chance whatsoever that the card you have was intended to be the 1/1. until the above post you dismissed any and all other possibilities however sound and reasonable they may have been.

Logically, IF it was supposed to be the 1/1 then topps would have immediately fixed it for the guy on SCF who pulled it from a pack way back in 2005 instead of telling both him and then you that werent supposed to be in packs to begin with.

Let's pretend that the card is real, gets autographed and slabbed. What would it be worth? Is it even a $500 in today's Aroid Market for a 1/1 insert?

I don't believe the card you have was meant to be THE 1/1 94A-AR Throwback auto 1/1. I think yours is simply a "back-up" for the ACTUAL one that was Singed, Authenticated by Topps, and Stickered with the 3M Holographic Stickers. There may be several copies of your card. I HIGHLY doubt Topps effed up badly enough to where they forgot to have the main one signed. I do believe the 94A-AR is a 1/1. Like stated in Beckett, but yours is NOT THE 1/1 that was released, but a mere "back-up" card to the ACTUAL1/1.

OP please see this link, maybe you need to talk to the guy that made this thread and talk to someone at topps and update. His took 8 months to solve, you are going on a year plus now

I have sent a couple twitter messages to Topps and Topps Support but have not heard anything that way. I posted a message on Topps Facebook page but they haven't acknowledged the post. A few other people posted to the Facebook question so that was cool but didn't help much.

I also emailed Beckett to ask about the checklist to make sure it is accurate and if it is accurate I asked what my card would be then.

I hope to get a response some time in the future but if anyone else would like to check on their own that would be cool. Maybe if enough people ask we can find out.

I just spoke to my buddy at topps. He is fully aware now you dont have a 1/1 nor should you get the market value for one. So in another words they have no nightmare now that you own a card worth under 25 dollars, just like you paid for it.

He is telling the truth. I contacted Topps and they told me the same thing. In fact they have your name on their ignore list now. I suggested that they try and make a lawsuit against you and get the police involved. Your going down buddy
