That person just provided a scan yesterday of the card and while his is not graded the scan itself will be good enough now to ask Topps what is up.

I was hoping the person with that card would join with me to contact Topps to find out more but he has declined due to time constraints.

I will however keep on it.

not only that dave but YOU even provided a link showing the sell sheet earlier in this thread when you said you didn't believe that there were Alex Rodriguez autographed parallel versions of the card

I thought a sell sheet was a full color sheet the size of a piece of paper that showed pics of the cards and product and gave pricing information and basic set information?

I have not seen anyone post that.

I have seen people post various online checklists but I don't consider those sell sheets and am unsure how accurate those checklists are.

The best way to find out I think is to contact Topps which is what I have done.

If Topps says there was a superfractor made then I will ask them what my card is.

These are not boxer shorts. Mine are boxer shorts. These are Hanes 32

My boxer shorts have my name and it says davepeters239

You obviously don't know what a sell sheet is

You also thought a superfractor dont look like a superfractor just because you really wanted yours to be one. The moral of this story? You seem to never know what you are talking about.

exactly, the other autos in the set are refractors and x-fractors, which means a true superfractor auto is out there.

the OP's card has nothing about it that says superfractor.

if anyone has a better contact at beckett than me, please call them and have them switch the POP report for the card in question to #94AR 1994 UER or something similar that doesn't imply it MIGHT be a superfractor.

dave peters: 99% of people posting on the subject completely disagree with you. We're all collectors and card people. We know cards and we talk cards, between all of us we have seen probably every thing there is to see. Our collective knowledge dwarfs your single minded views and thoughts and assumptions.
That, in and of itself, should tell you all you need to know.

Anyone else remember on SCF that guy that had an 86 Rated Rookie Canseco, signed, that he kept in like a bulletproof case and wanted like $100K for it because in his mind it was somehow his only "true" RC Auto in that the card was signed back in 86? And posted about it non stop even though we could link him PSA/DNA copies of the card that sold for like $10? He even had a twitter account called like "cansecorookie" where he would tweet at the actual Jose about the card?

Anyone? Am I alone remembering this?

Carry on.
