I figured it was only a matter of time before his name came out as well.

"Unlike the players named by the Miami New Times in its report that blew open the Biogenesis case, Braun's name is not listed next to any specific PEDs. "

"Also on the list are New York Yankees catcher Francisco Cervelli and Baltimore Orioles third baseman Danny Valencia, who weren't listed near PEDs either. "

Perhaps perspective clients?

So with the addition of this, I think the whole thing gets more and more fishy as time goes on. So they have no proof that any of these players actually received PED's, just their names on a list? The guy could have thrown down anyone...especially if they had previously been involved in controversy. Just imagine if he had chosen to write down Bryce Harper...just because he felt like it. How can MLB hand out punishments based on a guys notebook?

Yeah, figured that when all the Miami guys were listed. Really worried now that Yonder Alonso might have been involved in it too.

"The third record is a letter from Bosch that appears to be to Juan Nunez, a former runner for the ACES sports agency that represents Cabrera, Cruz and Gonzalez. Though undated, it congratulates "Juan" on "the MVP award" – a possible reference to Cabrera's All-Star Game MVP – and continues: "This smells like the 'Braun' advantage." "

Hm....

I wonder who he'll blame for this one. His union can't help him here.

READ THE STORY FIRST!

Three of the Biogenesis clinic records obtained by Yahoo! Sports show Braun's name. Unlike the players named by the Miami New Times in its report that blew open the Biogenesis case, Braun's name is not listed next to any specific PEDs

True, the article isn't conclusive but then there's this section

At least two other documents in the trove given to the New Times by a former Biogenesis employee mention Braun. In one, his name is on a line, with "RB 20-30K" on the next. Bosch listed the amount of money owed by other players in similar notation, though the numbers were usually lower.

Still nothing that will convince everyone but hopefully the inverstigation comes up with more concrete information.

-Depends on what type of 'shady'.

The main reason not to is a sort of Get Out of Jail card, whether that be an actual jail or a code name for when the famous clientele get skiddish or screw you over on a payment.

Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun just released this statement:

“During the course of preparing for my successful appeal last year, my attorneys, who were previously familiar with Tony Bosch, used him as a consultant. More specifically, he answered questions about T/E ratio and possibilities of tampering with samples.

“There was a dispute over compensation for Bosch’s work, which is why my lawyer and I are listed under ‘moneys owed’ and not on any other list.

“I have nothing to hide and have never had any other relationship with Bosch.

“I will fully cooperate with any inquiry into this matter.”
