The Free Card Thread

Recently, I posted in buy sell trade section saying I needed a base cards of a few players. And someone was very kind to say they'll send to me free of charge, and I thought "why don't we have more people do these things?"
So I thought, why not make a thread where people can post a very very low value card they need and if anyone has it who doesn't need it they can PM person and send it free of charge!
Post away and I'll see if I have it, and hopefully others will too!
I'm always looking for base of Alexei Ramirez, Brad Peacock (just started, don't have any other than BP), Yu Darvish, and Strasburg!
This may have been a bad idea, but I hope it helps at least one collector!

And... Find Toppsfan (me) 2012 Austin Aune base and 2012 Ginter Whate in a Name inserts

I think this is a pretty good idea, I need a 2005 Topps Berkman to complete a project I am doing.

I'm always looking for any Mets and Colt McCoy and Jordan Shipley (specifically 2011 Topps Chrome of Shipley), but I'd have to give something in return.

Very cool idea, though. Should really brighten the forum a lot. Could also really help make some space for people who have cards they have no need for.

This is a great idea, however Id make a rule that anyone who recives a free card on this thread also has to send a free card that someone on this thread needs. Sort of a pay it forward. For example, Im looking for the Starlin Castro 2013 base card and Anthony Rizzo 2013 base card, and in return Im going to send the OP athe 2013 Yu Darvish Basecard.

The only problem with the rule is that if someone doesn't have something someone needs. Whereas I have neither of those, but I'd be happy to send you a Castro 72 mini from 2012 or a Castro rookie year turkey red insert that I have!

I was actually just going through all of the base stuff I have. I have a lot of recent Topps baseball and some 12-13 basketball. I'll definitly keep a look out for this thread, and anybody's free to shoot me a PM if anything is needed.

Why not just do a pay it forward thread? Post a card, say no more that $20. Whoever takes the card, posts the next card. It's a fun way to trade. Once you've taken a card, you cannot take another card for 5 days.

I don't think it needs to be a card that someone needs. People can just list their PC players, and if someone has 1 of those player's cards, they can just send it to them.

EDIT: Got a 2013 David Lough in the mail today. So I can cross that one off the list.
